As an educator for over 20 years, in both secondary and higher education, Lauren had the pleasure of working with students from all different walks of life. Two key elements that have remained true no matter the setting are helping students find their confidence in the academic world and planning for their future goals. As an undergrad at Vanderbilt University, she found herself faced with questions on how to better prepare for the week, when and how to study for exams, and how to put her thoughts to paper when writing an essay. These are skills over the years as a teacher, she has focused on to help pull out in others. In learning how to conquer these life skills in college, the student is not only able to feel more successful about their work but in the future they aspire to have.
Lauren graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2002 with a degree in Secondary Education. She began her professional career as a Teacher and Coach. Lauren holds both a Masters and Doctorate degrees in Educational change from Lipscomb University.
